Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is the nearest airport to downtown Austin where the Summit will take place. It's about a $30 Uber or Lyft ride (or $1.25 CapMetro bus ride) from the airport to the conference venue.
The Summit will take place at the Austin Marriott Downtown (304 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX) — not to be confused with the JW Marriott a few doors down.
Our event will take over the entire 5th floor of the hotel’s conference space, including the Waterloo Ballroom and work + lounge spaces. The fifth floor is accessed from the lobby of the hotel via elevator or escalators, and we’ll have signs and volunteers indicating the way.
The Austin Marriott Downtown is offering a limited room block for Wednesday, Oct. 26 through Sunday, Oct. 30 at the discounted rate of $299 per night. Reminder: The conference doesn't kick off until midday Thursday, Oct. 27 (to allow for morning travel) and will wrap up in the late afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 29. Please do ask your selected hotel about cancellation and refund policies, as we are unable to provide assistance with travel or lodging arrangements.
There are also several other lodging options within short walking distance of the conference hotel:
- Hampton Inn & Suites Austin-Downtown/Convention Center
- Hyatt Place Austin Downtown
- The Line Austin
- Courtyard by Marriott Austin Downtown/Convention Center

The Austin Marriott Downtown offers valet parking at the following rates:
Daily Parking
Overnight Parking
For less expensive options, consider parking at the nearby Austin Convention Center ($15 for 12 hours) or using one of the Park & Ride lots on CapMetro's public transit network. These lots offer daytime parking only.
We expect to be able to offer a small number of scholarships to people who need help covering travel and lodging costs in order to attend the Summit. Please sign up below for updates on these scholarships if you're interested, and we'll send you details as soon as they're available.
